The diode laser system LEDA EPI was designed for fast laser hair removal. It is ideally suited for the gentle hair removal on all skin types. The laser energy is absorbed by the melanin in hair follicles, thus selectively targeting the hair follicles: The laser energy heats and thus destroys the follicles. Hair growth is permanently reduced. For optimal results, several treatments at an interval of a few weeks are necessary.

LEDA EPI for laser hair removal provides you with the best treatment parameters for each hair type. With its linear scanning, high penetration depth and flexible pulse widths, LEDA EPI is highly effective on thick and fine hair as well as on superficial and deeper lying hair.
Gentle laser hair removal for sensitive and darker skin
LEDA EPI offers individual settings for each patient. Standard Mode is ideal for very fast and effective treatments. Special modes are available for gentle hair removal on sensitive and darker skin.
FHR® Fractional Hair Removal Technology for sensitive skin divides the large spot size into 2-4 smaller spots. This leads to comfortable treatment with remaining high speed and effect.
In Low Fluence Mode, LEDA EPI applies a series of low energy pulses to heat the follicles gradually until damage. The surrounding skin can cool down between the pulses and is optimally protected. Low Fluence Mode dramatically reduces the risk of side effects especially on dark skin.
Two handpieces for all skin types
For fast hair removal on skin types I-IV, LEDA EPI 808 applies the proven wavelength of 808 nm. For the treatment of darker skin types, LEDA offers the additional handpiece LEDA EPI 980 with a wavelength of 980 nm. This wavelength is less absorbed in melanin of the skin and is thus very effective and gentle when treating darker skin.
